Why Families Choose Tree of Life Christian Preschool
Tree of Life Christian Preschool is a parent-supported, play-based community where children are celebrated for their curiosity, encouraged in their creativity, and loved for exactly who they are. Guided by our Christian roots—expressed through kindness, compassion, and care—we welcome families of all faiths into a space where every child feels safe, known, and deeply supported.
Our Promise to Families
We will love your child for exactly who they are, encourage their curiosity, and guide them with kindness.
Whether your family has deep Christian roots or simply shares our values of compassion and community, you are welcome here.
Longer Class Times & Flexible Schedules
We design our days around what children need most: time to play, explore, and build meaningful connections.
- 2 hours and 45 minutes of class time provides a longer, more enriching morning than many area preschools.
- Convenient timing aligns with local K4 and kindergarten pick-up schedules.
- Flexible options allow families to choose what works best:
- Toddlers (age 2): 2-day or 3-day programs
- Preschoolers (age 3): 2-day, 3-day, or 5-day programs
Our schedule is thoughtfully crafted so your child has the space to learn at their own pace—and you have a rhythm that supports your family.
A Family-Friendly School Year
Our calendar closely mirrors Whitefish Bay Public Schools, making life easier for families with siblings in multiple schools.
- School begins one week after WFB Public Schools
- School ends one week before
- Breaks and holidays align for seamless planning
This structure keeps our year consistent, predictable, and convenient for busy families.
Our Play-Based Philosophy
We believe that play is sacred work. Through hands-on discovery, imaginative experiences, and warm relationships, children learn to express themselves, solve problems, and build confidence rooted in a strong sense of self.
Our program nurtures growth in:
- Self-expression & self-esteem
- Social development & community skills
- Gross & fine motor abilities
Every child is treated with dignity, kindness, and respect—reflecting the spirit of love that guides our school.
A Community That Grows Together
Tree of Life is as much a community for parents as it is for children. Run by a parent volunteer board, families play an active role in strengthening the school through volunteering and connection. Throughout the year, we offer:
- Family-friendly outings and celebrations
- Guest enrichment experiences like Northshore Music Together, yoga, and seasonal activities
- Meet & Greet opportunities to build friendships with other caregivers and families
Together, we create a nurturing environment where children feel supported not only by teachers, but by the village around them.
